Join the Lab

Postdocs

We are interested in hearing from potential Postdoctoral Fellows who are interested in the Elliott Lab.

The Elliott Lab does not currently have a formal opening for a postdoctoral fellow in the lab. Though we are interested in hearing from you if you think you are interested in performing postdoctoral research in the Elliott Lab, especially if you are willing to work with Max to apply for external funding. For example, postdocs in my lab often have interests that can fit well with the goals of several T32 training grants at UMN.

To learn more, please send Max an email ([email protected]) with your CV and a description of why you are interested in being a postdoc in the Elliott Lab.

Graduate Students

We are currently recruiting 1-2 graduate students to join the Elliott lab. Graduate students can join the Elliott Lab through the Clinical PhD program or the Personality, Individual Differences, and Behavioral Genetics Program, so please take a look and decide which program is the best fit for you. While we can work with students through either program, Max has a higher priority to recruit students through our Clinical program. Make sure to take a look at the application website for detailed instructions and answers to FAQs.

If you have any specific questions about the Elliott Lab, please email Max ([email protected]).

Undergraduates

Each semester, there are several opportunities for undergraduates to work in our lab. This is typically done by gaining research experience through PSY 5993 or in pursuit of an honors thesis, though we are open to other pathways.

There are limited spots available. If you are interested, please fill out this form.
